We'll have parties throughout the year in the lounge,
most on Saturday nights.
We'll have fun, talk sailing, and plan the
next sail or party. Take a look at the schedule. As always,
we've included:
In July, our annual Pig Roast and Tropical Feast
Luau to celebrate Aventura's birthday. We had over 400 people for the Tahitian Pig Roast
last July.
October's wild Halloween Party.
Come as you are or aren't that night, and be a part of our costume contest.
December's gala Holiday bash, on a boat parade night, with a visit
from Santa!
We'll serve a buffet-style dinner at each of these
parties, with plenty of drinks. Bring only a positive attitude and a
willingness to have fun! You'll meet plenty of fellow sailors, and you
will be welcome whether or not you are "in theme." These
parties are a great place to exchange sea stories
(or whatever), plan the next sail or cruise, and just relax, so come and
join us!

Lady Luck makes a stop at Club Aventura tonight,
and you'll want to be there!
Play blackjack, roulette, and craps Las Vegas-style
without losing a month's pay.
The only money you'll spend will be your admission price for the
evening,
which will include plenty of "play" money for gaming,
and a lavish hot and cold finger food buffet, easily enough for
dinner.
Just like Vegas, the drinks are free while you're gambling
or even while you're not!

doesn't love the toes-in-the-sand "Coral Reefer" sound
of Jimmy Buffett and his friends?
Tonight, the party features cheeseburgers with all the fixings - I like mine with lettuce and tomatoes, Heinz 57 and french-fried
potatoes! Of course, there will be margaritas
that frozen concoction that helps me hang on -
and the famous boat that washes up on the Aventura beach
full of cold Corona beer!
The price includes all that and soft drinks, and a lot of your fellow
Parrothead beach bums. Get tropical!

Annual Aventura Luau and Pig Roast

They'll be flying in from all over America
again for Dana Point's biggest party, the annual Aventura Hog-Roast
Luau!
The lounge can't hold the 400 of us (or the 220 lbs. of pork
we'll roast)
this day, so we take over the parking lot and surroundings!
Your admission price includes everything:
a dinner of mouth-watering slow-roasted pork or chicken,
with plenty of
sides and fixings,
live music and dancing, soft drinks, beer and wine,
and mai-tais and
buffalo milk. Reserve well ahead,
but - If you go to only one party all year, make
sure this is it!

Come in costume, or come in a suit and tie

Holiday
Boat Parade Party - Saturday, December 13, 2008, 7 PM A full buffet dinner with a range
of food choices
with plenty of beer, wine, soft drinks, and maybe even reindeer
milk
(or buffalo milk if the reindeer are busy).
Regardless of the reindeer's status, count on the Dana Point holiday
boat parade
and, of course, A Visit From St. Nicholas! Yes, the jolly old elf himself will be handing out gifts in
the Aventura lounge.
