How to Participate

  • Boat Owners: Reserve your boat and organize your favorite crew. If you have extra berth space you are willing to sell, inform the Aventura office. Revenue will be split.

  • SailShare Members: Reserve your boat on the SailShare app and organize your own crew.

  •  Aventura Charter members: Organize your own crew and charter a boat (if qualified). If you would like to join the trip without chartering your own boat, notify the office to purchase berth space from Aventura.

New options for Social Members

Perhaps you and your friends would like to go. Consider a skippered charter with one of our USCG licensed Captains.

Your captain will sail with you to Avalon, but will sleep ashore, leaving you to have your boat all to yourself. Contact the office to notify them of your interest.

You will be allowed to pick up keys and pre-board your boat Thursday evening, so that our Friday departure is just last bit of load and go. If this will be your first Catalina trip, we will also have a skipper’s meeting a week before the trip with useful suggestions. So mark your calendars now for Easter weekend, March 29-31. The camaraderie and fun will create wonderful memories.

We will have an informational meeting on Friday February 16th following the new member meet and greet. So call the office to indicate your interest and plan to be there.
